Pharmacological effect Lactogynal

eubiotics for intravaginal use. Lactobacillus casei are gram-positive rod-shaped anaerobic nonspore-forming bacteria. Lactobacillus casei is a normal obligate flora of the mouth, intestine, vulva, and vagina in humans. Lactobacillus casei, along with other types of lactobacilli (including L. acidophilus, L. fermentum, L. cellobiosum), are present in the normal flora of the vulva and vagina of women. Live rod colonization of the vagina Lactobacillus casei rhamnosus doderleini creates a vaginal physiologic environment similar to that of the vagina. Lactojinal Lactobacillus casei rhamnosus doderleini strain has antagonistic activity against a wide range of pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria (including Staphylococcus spp., Proteus spp., enteropathogenic Escherichia coli), improves local metabolic processes, and promotes restoration of natural local immunity. When the lactoginal capsule is inserted into the vagina, the gelatin sheath of the capsule dissolves, releasing the lyophilized culture of live lactobacilli. In vitro Lactobacillus casei rhamnosus doderleini has been shown to induce pH reduction within hours of administration, contributing to the restoration of the vaginal natural microflora.
