Instructions for use and dosage level omeprazole

The recommended dose of Omeprazole is 20 milligrams once a day. It is important not to exceed the prescribed daily dose. A dose of 10 milligrams per day may be used to achieve a therapeutic effect, underscoring the importance of tailoring the dosage.

The capsules should be taken in the morning, preferably before meals, swallowing them whole and drinking half a glass of water. Capsules should not be chewed or crushed. If swallowing is difficult, the contents of the capsule can be mixed with a slightly acidic liquid (eg, juice, yogurt) for 30 minutes. If the expected effect does not exist within three days, you need to seek advice from a specialist. The maximum duration of treatment without consultation with the doctor is 14 days.
