pharmachologic effect Derinat

Derynate is an immunomodulator that affects the body's cellular and humoral immunity. Its effect is due to stimulation of B cells and activation of T helper cells. Derinate also activates non-specific resistance in the body, improving inflammatory responses and immune responses to bacterial, viral and fungal antigens. It also stimulates the processes of tissue repair and regeneration, and increases the body's resistance to infections. Derinate normalizes hematopoiesis, including white blood cell, lymphocyte, granulocyte, phagocyte, and platelet counts. Due to its lymph secretion ability, derinate stimulates the drainage and detoxification function of the lymphatic system. Derinate also makes cells less sensitive to the damaging effects of chemotherapy drugs and radiation therapy.

Testimony Derinat

Derinate is used to treat a variety of conditions, including radiation injury, impaired hematopoiesis, myelodepression, and cytostatic resistance in cancer patients. It can also be used in stomatitis induced by cytostatic therapy, gastric and duodenal ulcers, obliterative diseases of the lower extremities, trophic ulcers, burns, as well as in the preoperative and postoperative periods.

Method of application Derinat

Derinate includes giving adults 24 to 72 hours apart by injection into a muscle. The dosage for adults is 75 mg (5 mL of 15 mg/mL IM solution), a medium single dose. To treat CAD, the drug is given 48-72 hours apart in a course of 10 injections. For gastric and duodenal ulcers, derinate is given after 48 hours in a 5-shot course. For cancer, the dose is 5 mL (75 mg/day) at 24 to 72 hours, a course of 10 injections. In gynecology and andrology, 5 mL of 15 mg/mL solution is given over 24 to 48 hours in a course of 10 injections. For tuberculosis, 5 mL of 15 mg/mL solution is recommended after 24 to 48 hours, a course of 10 to 15 injections. For acute and chronic inflammatory diseases, the dose is 5 mL of 15 mg/mL solution, and treatment may consist of 3 to 5 or 10 injections, respectively.

In children, the intramuscular injection rate is the same as in adults. An average single dose of 7.5 mg (0.5 mL of 15 mg/mL IM solution) is given to children under 2 years; the dose is determined at 0.5 mL per year of life; an average single dose of 75 mg (5 mL of 15 mg/mL IM solution), taken in up to 5 injections, is recommended for children over 10 years of age.
