Pharmacological effect Duphalac

The pharmacological effect of this drug is that it is a laxative, causing changes in the flora of the large intestine, increasing the number of lactobacilli. It causes an increase in acidity in the lumen of the large intestine, stimulates peristalsis, increases volume, and softens stool. As a result, laxative effects develop, without directly affecting the mucosa and smooth muscle of the large intestine. Lactulose also absorbs ammonia in the colon, reduces the production of nitrogen-containing toxic substances, inhibits the growth of salmonella, does not affect the absorption of vitamins, is addictive and is almost not absorbed from the intestine.

Testimony Duphalac

Indications include constipation (including chronic), pregnancy, hemorrhoids, surgical procedures in the large intestine and/or anus, preparation for colon surgery, softening of stool (relieving defecation) in pain after removal of the hemorrhoids, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic precoma, and coma.

Method of application and dose Duphalac

The method of use and dosage depend on age and indications, they are prescribed by a doctor individually.
