Instructions for use Tanakan [Ginkgo Biloba]

Pharmacological properties TANAKAN

The preparation of plant origin, normalizes metabolism in cells, rheological properties of blood and microcirculation. Improves cerebral blood circulation and supply of brain tissue with oxygen and glucose, prevents aggregation of erythrocytes, inhibits platelet activating factor. It has a dose-dependent vasoregulatory effect on the vascular system, stimulates the production of an endothelium-dependent relaxing factor, dilates small arteries, increases the tone of veins, thereby regulating blood circulation in the vessels. Reduces the permeability of the vascular wall (anti-edema effect both at the level of the brain and peripheral tissues). TANAKAN

It has an antithrombotic effect (stabilizes the membranes of platelets and erythrocytes, affects the synthesis of prostaglandins, weakens the effect of biologically active substances, platelet-activating factor). Prevents the formation of free radicals and lipid peroxidation of cell membranes. Normalizes the release of neurotransmitters (norepinephrine, dopamine , acetylcholine), and their ability to bind to receptors. It has an antihypoxic effect, normalizes metabolic processes in organs and tissues, promotes the accumulation of high-energy compounds in cells, increases the utilization of oxygen and glucose, and normalizes mediator processes in the central nervous system.

The active ingredient is standardized dry ginkgo biloba extract (Egb 761): 24% heterosidives and 6% ginkgolides-bilobalides (ginkgolide A, B and bilobalide C). Ginkgo Biloba
In human studies, only the pharmacokinetic parameters of terpene fractions have been studied. When administered orally, the bioavailability of ginkgolides A, B and bilobalide C is 80–90%. The maximum concentration is reached within 1-2 hours after taking the drug TANAKAN. The half-life is about 4 hours (bilobalide, ginkgolide A) and 10 hours - (ginkgolide B).

These substances in the body do not disintegrate, they are almost completely excreted in the urine, a small amount is excreted in the feces.

Indications TANAKAN

- Cognitive deficits of various origins (discirculatory encephalopathy, due to stroke, traumatic brain injury, in old age, manifested by decreased attention, memory impairment, decreased intellectual abilities, a sense of fear, sleep disturbance), and neurosensory deficits of various origins (senile macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy);

intermittent claudication in chronic obliterating arteriopathy of the lower extremities (II degree according to Fontaine);
visual impairment of vascular origin, a decrease in its acuity;
hearing impairment, ringing in the ears, dizziness and impaired coordination, mainly of vascular origin;
Raynaud's syndrome.
